Hume Homes was founded in 2021 by Nick Hume, who, like many, had felt disconnected and undervalued during the property process. Buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants often find themselves out of the loop, left navigating a frustrating and impersonal system.
Nick knew estate agency could and should be different. That’s why Hume Homes was created: to deliver a better experience at every stage. With transparency, communication, and client care at our core, we make buying, selling, renting, and managing property both seamless and enjoyable.

Asked Questions
Does Hume Homes charge to visit my property to provide a sales or lettings valuation?
This service is entirely free. We will also, if required, offer advice relating to your particular plan together with ideas to best present your property.
What is included in my selling fees?
Everything is included. The cost of an EPC (if you need one) will be credited to you upon completion. We will conduct the viewings including ‘out of hours’ if required at no extra cost to suit both the prospective buyers and yourselves.
What is included in my letting fees?
We offer a comprehensive service including professional advice and support from one of our friendly team who will visit your property and do everything to get your property live to the market.
What happens if I do not sell my property?
Should your property be on the market longer than expected, we will help you review your options and conduct a full marketing review of your property every Month. We look at everything such as all of your previous viewings and feedback, ways to boost your viewings and we will re-evaluate the local market including details of what is selling in the area.
